My name is Pol van den Berg. I am a composer (20), studying composition (main subject) and recorder (minor) at the conservatoire of The Hague. I was born in the province of Groningen, (to be located in the north of the Netherlands). My teachers for composition are Calliope Tsoupaki and Cornelis de Bondt. My teacher for recorder is Reine-Marie Verhagen.
My passions are playing and composing music, writing poems, reading literature, strip cartoons, philosophizing, walking, and to conclude with swimming and enjoying a campfire on a beautiful evening.
Also am I, as sound artist, interested in (local) languages and dialects. Last years I started studying Gronings, Frisian, Limburgs and Afrikaans.
