JIM BRINKMAN
Saxophone

While growing up in a small town in Holland he joined the local Fanfare Orchestra and started taking saxophone lessons.
His passion for music grew to an extend that he finished his high school education in combination with music at ''The School for Young Talent'' in The Hague.
He took masterclasses and studied with renowned saxophonists: Erik-Jan de With, Frank Timpe, Arno Bornkamp, Corina Ewijk, and David Kweksilber.
Jim is currently studying Classical Saxophone (class of professor Raaf Hekkema) at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
Jim has a particular interest in the historical development of the Saxophone and performing many different styles of music.
He finds his interest in performing a broad repertoire from Bach to contemporary music.
